A role is a named set of permissions. Assign a role to a user rather than granting rights one by one, and every future change to that role follows everyone who holds it.

Maker-checker on high-value settings
Changes such as rate card approval, COD limit increases and settings edits above the high-value threshold require a second approver. The person who raises the change cannot be the one who approves it — this is enforced at the permission level, not by convention.
